Comments: While you are working your way through their menu, you might notice they are curing their own corn beef, so you might want to get some hash, or move unto lunch and get a Reuben. Also, and we hate to share this, but they have an amazing baklava cheese cake available until it runs out (you’re behind us, friend).

Comments: It took us a while to get around to this long time Denton anchor, but their experience shows. Of course they know how to cook eggs. Also, a side hobby of ours is looking for the best biscuits and gravy. They are a VERY strong contender.

Comments: New place that appears to be focusing on pancakes. Their fried egg game seems to be sharp, so we bet the cook could do an omelet after a brief instruction.

Comments: Old West usually has a fabulous kitchen team and can do made to order eggs at four different levels, so today’s fail was a surprise. But we look forward to re-scoring them because it gives us the opportunity to work our way through the rest of their massive menu. How ’bout some chicken fried steak with that breakfast?

Omelet: YES! This omelet is made correctly! Delicate layer of egg on the outside, stuffed with ham and cheese.

Made to Order Eggs: NO! Under-cooked. A big puddle of yolk at first touch.

Omelet: NO! Super Sad! If they made an omelet, it could be the best in town, because the cook takes the time to make the super thin delicate layers and fold them up. Unfortunately, they threw the other stuff into the raw egg, resulting in a folded frittata with some shredded cheese tucked in the middle.
